Bandera Mid Waterproof is rated 3.4 out of 5 by 9.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst boots ever These are bulky, heavy, and extremely uncomfortable. The 9 was too small and 9.5 too big if my socks were thin. The part around the ankle is too wide and I constantly had sticks and pine needles going in. It also caused my ankle to sweet and bruise. I went on a 32 mile trip and was in excruciating pain. Unbeerable, I was almost in tears. Blister on my big toe, and all around my heels. No cushion what si ever, felt like walking on wood planks. My feet are still sore and in a lot of pain. These were so bad I literally left them in the mountains and hiked out in flip flops. So incredibly disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Shoe! I couldn't be more happy with these boots. A great boot for a great price. My feet have been WARM and DRY since I put them on. They run a little big but not to much will allow for a bigger sock as the winter grows colder. I also wear an orthotic and it fits great in the shoe. I tell everyone about these!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Comfortable and Sturdy I've had my boots for a couple of weeks, and today was the first time wearing them in the rain. They seem to be doing pretty well. My feet are pretty dry. I didn't have to suffer a break-in period, which makes me very happy! The inserts are a little thin, but that's easily remedied. They run a little small, so I had to go up a half-size. I will definitely put these in my favorite category.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bandera Mid Waterproof This boot is not only cute but also makes your foot look much smaller--it is so comfortable and true to size...finally the perfect winter must-have because I have been searching for years for exactly what this boot offers. Kudos to the designers my search is over ;)

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Be Careful Heavy & Clunky These are not the best. They are not as waterproof as they should be. They are heavy, clunky and snug. They seem to run small even with wearing a simple tennis sock.. they run SMALL. The tread is great. But not much else. Spend more, go GORE-TEX

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Still going strong! Absolutely nothing disappoints about this boot. I've had these boots for almost 3 years, wearing them almost daily. I have issues with impact when walking, not a problem with these. Fit and comfort are outstanding. Winter of 2014-2015 dropped NINE FEET of snow, needless to say, I was out shoveling very often but my feet were dry and warm every time.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from defective I bought a pair of these hikers Feb. 29th 2016. They lasted about almost a year. One of the eye hooks fell off, the shoelaces fell apart and the insole right foot fell out and their not waterproof! I wrote and asked if they could be fixed. No. Their 11 days out of warranty. I will never ever buy a pair of Hi-Tec boots again.

My Lady Lite Vs have separated at the toe (the sole from the upper). Do you have a recommended repair? I really like these boots & miss them sorely. Are the Lady Lites still made? Or what would be the closest replacement style?

Asked by: Zs G
Hi, The Lady Lite V is a vintage hiker that came out in the 80'/90's. Unfortunately, they are not still in production. If you are really partial to the boots, you could take them to a shoe repair business and see if they can glue to toe back to the sole. For an updated version, check out the Sierra Tarma and the V-Lite Wildlife. They are contemporary interpretations off of the classic style.

Hi I have a pair of Hi-tec Eldorados love them what shoe is close to them, or do still make them?

Asked by: jackie 49
We no longer carry the El Dorado but recommend the Altitude V i WP. The Altitude V has a waterproof leather upper that provides durability and comfort, EVA midsole, lightweight and durable nylon 'fork shank', OrthoLite Impression sockliner, Multi-Directional Traction outsole, i-Shield and a Dri-Tec waterproof, breathable membrane.

Bandera...why no wide width

Asked by: Lois

I need a narrow, lightweight, over ankle boots suitable for canoeing and portaging.  A friend recommended these but I'm concerned they're too wide.  Do you have any boots in a narrower size?
