Is this pair appropriate for Pacific Northwest hiking? Rain, boulders and snow?

Yes, I would recommend them for all of the above. they even have just enough room for warm, thick socks or doubling up on a pair. I haven't worn mine anywhere too cold yet, but in 44 degree weather in Bend, Oregon, they kept my feet nice and toasty with regular socks. I love them! Good luck!

I often go in Caves that are full of thick, sticky mud/clay that you can easily get stuck and loose a boot in! Not only that but my feet can be fully submerged for extended periods of time. Can these boots survive the mud and moisture for that long?
